Flare guns force soccer match at Lockhart Stadium to end early

A friendly soccer match between teams from Colombia and Argentina ended early Saturday night when flares were shot from the crowd at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

Videos posted on Instagram showed the chaotic moments.

America de Cali of Colombia had a 3-1 lead over Club Atletico River Plate of Argentina when the game was called in the second half because of the unruliness.

The match was the second annual Copa Campeones de America. Last year's event was held at FIU Stadium.
