The son of a Miami Heat legend famous for making it rain three-pointers was arrested at a club famous for making it rain dollar bills.

Glen Rice Jr. was put in handcuffs at 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday morning. According to the exclusively-obtained arrest report, the incident started when Rice, 26, was unhappy with the service inside Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami Gardens.

Police say a bouncer tried to calm Rice down and offered for him to speak to the club's manager. Rice declined and somehow the situation escalated. At that point, Rice allegedly punched the bouncer in the face twice.

Rice claims he was set off because the bouncer said something about his sister. According to a written statement to police, the bouncer said Rice "demanded that he respected his sister, then punched him in his face."

Rice was charged with battery and is being held on $1,500 bond. (Update: Rice bonded out of jail early Tuesday afternoon)

Rice Jr. played college basketball at Georgia Tech. He was a second-round NBA draft pick in 2013 and played in 16 games for the Washington Wizards.

His father, Glen Rice Sr., played for the Miami Heat from 1989-1995.
