Uncle Luke to DJ Khaled: Get out of Miami if you bring Drake to Heat game

By: Andy Slater

"If DJ Khaled brings Drake to the game ... you can get the hell out of Miami."

That's exactly what Luther Campbell, aka Uncle Luke, said today on my weekday radio show.

You can hear Uncle Luke's entire minute-long rant below, including the part where he tells DJ Khaled to sell his house.

"It's not going to be a nice thing for you down here, Khaled."

Drake is an ambassador for the Toronto Raptors who face the Miami Heat in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.

Game 3 will be in Miami on Saturday night.

Just in: Details on alleged incident believed to involve Mark Walton

By: Andy Slater

A man believed to be Canes RB Mark Walton allegedly pulled over a female, claimed he was an off-duty police officer, grabbed the women's hands, and started rubbing his genital area against her back.

(Update: 4/28 6:00pm) Another source very close to the situation tells me that the suspect in this case is indeed Mark Walton.

All of this information is according to a new police report. Most details of the incident are very similar to those I reported on Saturday afternoon, four days before police released the new information.

The police report lists the suspect as "Salomon", but describes characteristics that would match Walton, including a chain that he is wearing in the publicized arrest video.

According to the report, this alleged incident took place two days prior to Walton's DUI arrest.

The University of Miami quickly suspended Walton a few hours after his arrest.

More charges are still possible against the team's running back.

New info: Alleged details on Mark Walton arrest

By: Andy Slater

Miami Hurricanes running back Mark Walton was arrested by Miami police, as first reported by WPLG Local 10

Police have confirmed that Walton will be charged with DUI, however, my police sources on Saturday afternoon told me some alleged details of the incident that may bring on more charges.

According to sources, Walton allegedly stopped a car with a female inside and may have groped her, hence the WPLG report that an impersonating a police officer charge may be brought against Walton.

I'm told that Walton is still being held at Miami PD while police confer with the State Attorney's Office on that charge, and possibly more charges, including battery or sexual battery.

Uncle Luke says get rid of Miami Beach politicians, not Floatopia

By: Andy Slater

"These idiots on Miami Beach ... they always want to stop something."

Luther Campbell, aka Uncle Luke, had some serious words for Miami Beach politicians during my radio show on Tuesday afternoon.

Thousands of people showed up to Miami Beach on Saturday to attend "Floatopia" --- a party with floats and inner tubes. According to all accounts, almost everyone who attended left their stuff behind.

Politicians now want the event banned.

Miami Beach commissioner Michael Grieco told WPLG Local 10 "I don't know how 100,000 people can come out to my beach and just not take what they brought with them."

"It's not your beach," Campbell said referring to Grieco's message. "Remember his comments when it's time to vote ... and vote Michael's ass out."

All seven minutes of Luke's tirade, including comments toward Mayor Philip Levine, can be heard below:

Floatopia is organized by a group using a website and social media, not the City of Miami Beach.

Florida Panthers co-owner: Cats in 5

By: Andy Slater

Florida Panthers co-owner Doug Cifu predicted his team will beat the New York Islanders in a series that he says will last only five games.

"Cats in five," Cifu told me on my show this afternoon on 940 WINZ and iHeartRadio.

"If you look at all the experts ... everybody's picking the Panthers, so there must be something to it," Cifu added.

The Panthers and Islanders begin their best-of-seven series tonight at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL.
