(Update 4/3/18:) Felony charges have been dropped. Anderson now only faces one misdemeanor count of reckless driving.
A Broward State Attorney spokesperson tells me "there was a possible discrepancy regarding the initial estimated speed, but there is no doubt that the defendant was driving recklessly."
"The other charges were declined, not filed, due to insufficient evidence," the spokesperson says.
Initial story:
New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson continues to run into trouble with the law in South Florida.
The former South Plantation star was arrested early Friday morning in Sunrise.
Anderson is facing several serious charges including: harm to a public servant/family, reckless driving, eluding police, and resisting arrest.
According the cops, Anderson sped past a marked police car at 105 mph in a 45 mph speed zone. Anderson also allegedly ran two red lights and did not stop for the officer behind him.
After finally coming to a stop, Anderson told the officer who arrested him that he was going to find his wife, "f*ck her, and n*t in her eye."
The police report says Anderson bragged about how much money he had and how the officer was just trying to "ruin his fun."
In exclusively-obtained video, a cop draws his gun on Anderson before the arrest.
Anderson was arrested last year at a Miami music festival. He was then charged with resisting arrest and obstructing justice. That case is ongoing.
Last season, Anderson had 63 catches for 941 yards and 7 touchdowns.
