Man who paid for Anti-Rowe banner plane wants to remain anonymous

Sometimes superheroes wear masks.

The man who paid for a banner plane to fly above the BB&T Center on Monday wishes to remain anonymous.

The banner read "Tom Rowe Must Go! Call Him a Cab!"

I contacted the company who flew the plane. They could not directly put me in contact with the customer who purchased it, however they reached out to the person.

All the company told me is that the person was a man and said he wanted to stay far away from any media.

The cab referenced in the banner is to this season's firing of previous Panthers' head coach Gerard Gallant, who was pictured leaving the Carolina arena in a cab.

Less than 24 hours after the banner flew, multiple reports emerged that Rowe would not be returning to the bench for the Panthers next season.

The Panthers have currently lost 5 in a Rowe.
